The paintings of Kim Snyder reflect her appreciation and lifetime love for painting. When living in Europe in 1971 Kim spent much of that time in its many art museums. It was there that she decided to pursue painting.
Kim’s formal education began at Los Angeles Harbor College, 1977. She furthered her education at Santa Barbara City College 1979 and U.C.S.B extension. She moved into Illustration and production art for such companies as: Hapu Wear, R. Richard’s and Apropos Wine Designs. Now Kim is painting in her own Chaparral Design Studio.
A founding member of Southern California Artists Painting for the Environment www.s-c-a-p-e.org Kim served as president 2006/2008. She is also a member of the Santa Barbara Art Association and Carpinteria Valley Art Council and CAC.
